Where I am at right now with Writer’s Suite newly includes a seed-driven generator for settlements so writers can spatialize the civilian settings of their stories if those exist. I’ve added what I think are intuitive controls and options to really give it a more expressive, customizable set of options. What I have not been able to do yet is get detailed feedback on the generated settlements and whether or not they are sufficient, or what changes need to be made. As a solo dev and project pioneer, I enjoy the process of making and refining things. Picky is my mentor. Dissatisfaction grants me clairvoyance.

Here soon, I will finally be able to get Extended Validation for my installers so it can be installed and tested by all sorts of people with all sorts of needs and expectations. It’s exciting! I feel like now, now the people can see what I see! I – with anticipation – also want to see what the people see. I want for the fruits of my work to be refined by a userbase that knows that someone is in their corner, that Writer’s Suite works already and it can only get better. The future is uncertain, but what is certain is that Writer’s Suite’s payment model is here to stay. I may also make a lightweight version that’s just free so that writers have something that just works, even if it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles.
A wise man in my life once told me that if you help those around you, then you create a culture of mutual aide and you don’t have to worry about whether or not you will be okay. You’ll be given the care that you give. Those words inform my decisions and power my drive. Hopefully, you will find the same joy and satisfaction in Writer’s Suite that I do.
Now, I best go actually write. I’ve been procrastinating on my story for far too long. Took a rabbit trail so massive I discovered my life’s project in the making. Whoops haha.
